NLP Study Group-March 2009

March 23, 7-9 pm, BOULDER: Positive Intent of Parts

Come be a part of a safe and creative exploration of parts of ourselves. Have you ever wanted something in your life that you knew was attainable, but somehow something stopped you from getting it? What stopped you? Did your behaviors, thoughts, or feelings pose a problem to achieving what you wanted, as if YOU didn't even have a say in the matter?! What if these "problems" were generated by parts of ourselves that had nothing but positive intent for us? Come find out what is possible when we discover the positive intentions behind our "inabilities."

March 30, 7-9 pm, DENVER: Playing With Presuppositions

Presuppositions are language patterns that we use, both with ourselves and others, consciously and unconsciously. Presuppositions imply or convey certain elements of the message as presupposed or assumed, and thus difficult to question. Example: “I wonder if you’re aware of your good attitude?” The focus is on whether or not you are aware of your good attitude, that you have a good attitude is presupposed.
